ABC Singapore Branch has been actively implementing the group’s green finance development plan，At the end of 2021, the Branch updated its Sustainable Financing Framework (“SFF”) in line with both latest International and Chinese green and sustainable finance principles and standards, the first among Chinese banks in Singapore. On 2 November 2022, the Branch successfully issued US$200 million SOFR-based Green Club Loan (“Green Loan”) pursuant to the SFF. This transaction was well supported by 2 international banks and 3 Chinese banks. The Branch would utilize all the Green Loan proceeds towards eligible green and sustainable assets.

Year to date, ABC Singapore Branch has extended green and sustainable credit facilities totaling US$350 million to its customers and assisted in raising US$3.88 billion through green bond issuances. Furthermore, the Branch actively provides cross-border green finance solutions to its customers by working closely with domestic branches.
