Recently, ABC Singapore Branch successfully assisted Sasseur Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) in its listing on SGX mainboard. This is the first REITs listing under the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity as well as the first REITs listing in SGX with assets from China central and western regions.
Concurrent with the listing, Sasseur REIT also obtained onshore and offshore syndicated loan facilities. As a lead arranger, ABC Singapore Branch participated in the offshore facility. Through actively integrating investment banking and commercial banking services, ABC Singapore Branch made beneficial exploration for promoting financial integration under the Belt and Road Initiative.
