On 30 March, the Executive Vice President of Agricultural Bank of China, Mr Kang Yi, made a planned visit to the Singapore office.

Giving a boost to the Singapore operations, he reiterated and praised the good work done by the local office. In aligning with the “One Belt, One Road” initiative with the emergence of a new economic paradigm to better engage the region, it is therefore an imperative to continue to innovate and offer a wide repertoire of financial services to the region to capitalize on growth opportunities.

Mr. Kang also stressed that it is essential to strengthen corporate governance at all times, and in keeping a close watch on driving improvements in key areas such as compliance and risk management.

During his time here, Mr Kang and his entourage also met up with senior officials at Monetary Authority of Singapore to update on developments.
