ABC Singapore Branch invited cyber-security experts to conduct cyber-security training for all staff.

With increasing pervasiveness of technology (and ever newer technologies) entering cyberspace, it is thus more pertinent than before to ensure that the Bank’s IT security is not compromised.

The expert provided an overview of Monetary Authority of Singapore’s framework on cyber security regulatory requirements; and discussed the risks, inherent or otherwise, of hacker attacks and cybercrime. Industry’s best practices and steps on how to heighten employees’ security awareness were highlighted as well.

Requiring concerted efforts from all staff in strengthening cyber security protection in the Bank; it is thus imperative that all employees play their role to enforce the strict compliance of network security and ensure that the Bank’s IT security is not breached.
