On 27 July 2015, ABC Singapore Branch welcomed the Bank's Executive Vice-President, Mr Li Zhenjiang, to grace its 20th years of operations in the city-island state.
Mr Li was given a rousing reception as he stepped into the office. He was briefed on the past two decades of milestones and developments of the local branch's business unit. Expressing satisfaction and marvelling at the progress of its Singapore operations, he thanked the staff for their hard work, dedication and efforts. He further reiterated that the Bank will put in more resources and support to ABC Singapore Branch as it is a springboard and nexus to the South East Asia business gateway.
Mr Li also met up with a group of staff in a closed door session to understand ground sentiments, feedback and opportunities in driving its operations forward. Matters such as talent retention, heightened regional posting programs as well as strengthening its corporate branding (outside of Beijing), were discussed. He also presented long service awards to staff.

During his trip to Singapore, Mr. Li and his entourage paid a visit to MAS officials to highlight ABC’s international strategy and development. He has also expressed gratitude to MAS for the support given to the Singapore Branch.
