POSB Passion Run for Kids 2013
As part of ABC Singapore Branch's Corporate Social Responsibility outreach program,the Bank has recently made a donation to the POSB Passion RUN FOR KIDS 2013 event.Jointly organized by POSB and People's Association,this event is back for the fifth year and aims to raise funds for the less privileged kids in the community.
Several of our staff took part in the run.Some of them took part in the 3.5 km walk, while the more adventurous ones opted for the 10 km competitive run.The skies had opened the night before;and there was still a drizzle as the Organizers flagged off the event.The participants could not have asked for a better weather;as the cool and gentle breeze ushered in a fresh breath of air to kick off the Sunday morning.
Taking us past the sights and landmarks of the Marina Bay area,the run/walk was indeed a good way to shed some calories and to donate to this meaningful cause to make a difference to these children's lives.ABC participants certainly enjoyed the time together.
