In pursuit of our continued CSR engagement with the community in the various areas, the Bank's 3rd CSR Project for 2013 was in interacting with the elderly through games.

It was held at St Hilda’s Community Services at Jalan Batu. The centre serves residents living in the 13 blocks of flats in Tanjong Rhu where about half of the 1,572 households are the elderly.

The work at the centre was indeed rewarding. We felt a sense of satisfaction when we see the senior citizens took delight in the games we had with them; such as Hi-Low and Bingo as well as the board-game, Rummy-O. They thoroughly enjoyed the games and basked in joy and laughter.

It was truly wonderful to see that a simple day out with the folks could bring such immeasurable level of content to many of us. We are glad to be able to take part in this volunteer work.
