As part of a broader perspective in our CSR outreach efforts, in order to encourage our staff to be proactive in volunteering work, we invited the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre to conduct a talk in the Bank’s premise on 8 March 2013 during lunch time hours.

A wide range of topics shared during the session. It included that of introduction to Corporate Community Investment, what is Giving (Volunteering/Donations), how to take the first steps in CSR work, what are the various types of needs and the corresponding volunteering activities, introduction to local websites for volunteering activities as well as managing expectations on the aspects of volunteerism.

It was a good engagement for all present and our staff has certainly gained valuable insights about volunteering work.
