As part of the Bank's community and social outreach program, ABC Singapore Branch , participated in the FRIEND program on 25 October 2012.

FRIEND is a St Hilda's Community Services Centre welfare organization where volunteers worked with the elderly residents living in the estate to lead a healthy lifestyle in their golden years. Participants in the volunteer program help the elderly residents embrace a holistic well-being approach to graceful ageing. Our Bank's staff helped the seniors there with their exercise regimen to enhance their mobility levels. Some of these activities that they have partaken included that of aiding the physically-challenged elderly with simple gymnastic movements and the less-agile ones with some lightweight exercises.

Through this participation, the Bank's staff also relished the chance to meet up and interact with like-minded volunteers from other nationalities all bound by a common objective – spirit of volunteerism.

It marked yet another meaningful effort for the Bank and its staff to engage the community in its social outreach program.
