In May 2012, ABC Singapore Branch together with representatives from ABC International (“ABCI”) visited the direct investment department of GIC. Both parties had in-depth discussions on collaboration opportunities in areas of private equity investment and IPO projects. This meeting set up a good framework for future collaborations between the two sides. As Singapore is one of the world’s major asset manager centers, Singapore institutional investors play an instrumental role in major capital market activities in Asia Pacific. This visit also marks a good start for ABC Singapore Branch and ABCI to joint forces reaching out to major Singapore institutional investors.
