Singapore Branch Investment Banking Department ("the Department") using the Singapore capital market as its main base, has commenced its joint marketing efforts with mainland domestic branches, to promote Initial Public Listing ("IPO") advisory services as well as other investment banking businesses, At the same time, the Department shall progressively support mainland domestic branches' business activities, by providing top quality services to their quality customers' offshore businesses.
Under our Head Office guidance, Singapore Branch and mainland domestic branches have been building up a series of cooperation in many business areas, participating in each branch's IPO promotional activities and also inviting Singapore Exchange in co-hosting Singapore IPO listing seminars and other promotional activities together with selected mainland domestic branches in China, so as to jointly supporting the customer requirements of our mainland domestic branches. Currently, the main services that the Department provides are namely: pre-IPO financial advisory, de-listing financial advisory, private equity financial advisory and listed company advisory services.
Through our mainland domestic branch recommendations and on-site client visits, inviting client visits to Singapore and other approaches etc, the Department shall closely and timely follow up with each prospect client accordingly. Building on the foundation made between the Department and selected mainland domestic branches' corporate customers in advisory services cooperation, the Department has commenced in providing to these corporate clients on offshore IPO and financial services and other forms of offshore advisory activities.
